Dr Nikhil, I want you to know that I have not forgotten about you and am eternally grateful for all that you have done for me.

Breakthrough Technology

Implant Dentistry

Implant is a root like metallic structure surgically placed in jaw bones to support a Crown or Denture for replacing missing teeth.

Implants are ideal when teeth are missing and patient is unhappy with removable dentures. Implants provide a firm attachment for replaced teeth. Implants used to support a bridge, removable partial or complete denture, tremendously improve the feel and function of replaced teeth. Teeth lost during young age or missing since birth can also be ideally replaced by Implants. A dental implant is an artificial tooth root which we surgically place in the jawbone to substitute for a missing tooth.

Metal Free Dentistry

Metals, in addition to being unaesthetic looking have even produced sensitivities in some situations (Nickel based). In the recent years the trend has been to avoid metals whenever possible especially in the practice of cosmetic dentistry. Today one has option of having tooth colored fillings, all porcelain pressed, low fusing, Crowns and Bridges.

The Dentistry of this century is striving to be ‘metal free’, however, metals in conventional restorations, Dentures are still practiced effectively.

Bonded Dentistry

With the availability of hi-tech bonding agents it is possible to bond literally any material to the tooth. With the advent of these newer materials it has been possible to conserve the tooth structure, build and replace teeth by tooth colour materials for optimum appearance and function. Adhesive dentistry has made minimum intervention and maximum conservation possible in Restorative Dentistry.

Full Mouth Reconstruction

This service is mainly for people who have severe issues with their teeth – be it bite problems with associated gum disease or ill fitting partial/complete dentures based around weak/decayed teeth. Many of the patients we see here have “reactive” dentistry is when they go to the dentist when they have a problem and have that problem dealt with. Unfortunately over years of this type of treatment is bigger problems or causes of these issues are ignored it results in a very distressed mouth and patient. Patients like these require a full mouth reconstructive to restore their dentition to full oral health.

Once your full history and examination has been taken, we will outline a treatment plan to put things right. All aspects of the problem and their solution will be thoroughly discussed so that both dentist and patient are fully aware of every step of the treatment plan. Very often these treatments include the utilization of the following methods:

  • Implantology
  • Peroiodontology (gum treatment)
  • Crown and bridge work
  • Minor Orthodontics
  • Hygienist therapy
  • Endodontic therapy
